Dr. Nakeria Davis, DC

What does a biomedical engineer, a hospital intern, and a former athlete have in common?

They are all part of the journey that made Dr. Nakeria Davis the chiropractor she is today.

While studying engineering at the FAMU-FSU School of Engineering, Dr. Davis gained a technical understanding of the human body. Her summers were spent alongside residents in one of Florida's top hospitals giving her a front-row seat to conventional medicine. But it was her discovery of the body's innate ability to heal that led her to chiropractic, a vitalistic approach that resonated deeply.

She embraced the principle "The power that made the body heals the body," spending the next four years learning to help patients restore their brain-body connection by clearing nervous system interferences. This unique blend of engineering precision, clinical experience, and a holistic philosophy allows her to provide truly patient-centered care.

Dr. Davis helps her patients in the DMV feel their best by treating the root cause, not just the symptom. When she's not practicing, you can find her on a pickleball court, a yoga mat, or enjoying the arts at a local theater, honoring her creative spirit as a former performer.
